About the Webinar
Reasons to watch:
In this session, Harald Åge Sæthre shares a practical and research-informed approach to student success, based on more than 30 years of experience working with retention, belonging and first-year experience in higher education.
Rather than looking for one simple solution, the webinar explores why student success requires a more holistic and systematic approach. Harald Åge introduces a model for understanding the many factors that influence whether students stay, leave, thrive or struggle, and how institutions can use this knowledge to create better support structures.
Discover why student retention is rarely about one single issue, and why institutions need to look at the full student experience.
Learn why the first weeks and months are especially important for belonging, motivation and confidence.
Explore how social integration, peer groups and everyday learning environments can help students feel safe, take part and succeed.
